Framed Art Australia
I've had Australian customers reaching out lately to ask about framing and I'm in two minds about whether to include framing with our digital art downloads/printable wall art prints. I kind of like that they are all currently under $25 and therefore a very affordable choice, adding professional printing and framing, brings that price point up considerably. We do offer professionally framed Australian Landscape Photography, which captures a lot of our photography work from over the years. Largely all that of my very talented wife, Katie Fox, which you can check out on our Outback Australia Landscape Photography page. Anyway, I'll continue to ponder whether or not to add framing but for now, I've listed below some affordable framing options available in Australia to help you out.
If you want to mix a digital wall art print with a frame. Here are a few affordable options you can choose from.
Wall Art - Kmart
Kmart offer some affordable frames with an A4 option for just $12 and their bigger A1 frames still come out affordable at $28.
Wall Art Spotlight
Spotlight in Australia has A4 frames for around $23 but I've seen them on sale as low as $14 and their A1 larger frames are around the $30-$80 depending on the style you choose.
IKEA Wall Art
Ikea have some A4 frames available as low as $9! You do have to do the conversion for sizing yourself though. To help, below here is a guide on A4 to A1 sizing to help you with converting frame sizes if you are buying from IKEA wall art;
A4 size is 29.7 cm x 21cm
A3 size is 42cm x 29.7cm
A2 size is 59.4 cm x 42cm
A1 size is 84.1 cm x 59.cm
Freedom Wall Art
Freedom have a very nice option in being able to buy multiple frames to cost save. At the time of writing this blog, they have two A4/A3 frames available for $38 and also two A1 poster frames available for $84.
Wall Art Big W
Big W have A4 frames as low as $3, which is wild, I don't know how you could even make a frame for that price. Anyway, they have A1 frames for $18 as well, which makes it ridiculously affordable to frame your wall art.
How To Choose Wall Art
That Wall Art Shop printable wall art prints come in A4, A3, A2 and A1 sizes. So if you are in Australia, you can head to one of the framing options above and filter to those sizes, you should be able to find something you like.
